FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

When should I arrive for my appointment?
Please check in at the front desk 15 minutes prior to your scheduled time. This gives us ample time for checking in and answering any questions you may have before your service.

How far in advance should I schedule my appointment?
We recommend scheduling your appointment one to two weeks in advance. Keep in mind that evening and weekend appointments are the most popular and may require three to four weeks advance scheduling. Feel free to call us at the last minute and we will try our best to accommodate you. It is always best to schedule your next appointment before you leave the salon.

What should I do to cancel my appointment?
Because your services are personally reserved for you, we ask that you notify us at least twenty-four hours in advance if you need to reschedule or cancel. When we are closed, please leave a message on our voicemail. Any cancellation made with less than 24 hours’ notice will result in a 50 percent charge of scheduled services.

What if I am running late for my appointment?
We understand that delays are sometimes unavoidable. Please call to let us know you are running late. We will let your stylist know when to expect you.

Who can I contact to help me decide on the right services for me?
Our scheduling staff will gladly assist you in the selection of your services.

What is the difference between a gel and shellac manicure?
They are the same thing.  Shellac is a brand name of a gel polish. We also offer OPI gel polish.

What if I have shellac polish on my nails?
Please inform the receptionist if you currently have Shellac or Gel polish on your nails while scheduling your nail appointment as additional removal time will be required.

What is the difference between Highlights and Lowlights?
A highlight places lighter pieces through a darker base color. A lowlight places darker pieces through a lighter base color. Both procedures are done at the same time.

What is the difference between a perm and a body wave?
Both are done the same way. The size of the rod determines the size of the curl. A big rod gives you a larger curl and a small rod gives you a smaller curl.

How do I purchase a Gift Card?
Gift Cards can be purchased in the salon or over the phone with a credit card.
